The Warranty Tough enough to last a lifetime... Covering your use of Wolmanized® Outdoor® wood for as long as you own your home or farm. When used in an application which is consistent with the intended end use identified on the product label or stamp and in conjunction with a residential or agricultural structure located in the United States of America, then subject to the conditions contained in this Warranty, your Wolmanized Outdoor wood is warranted against such damage by termites or fungal decay as would make the lumber structurally unfit for the applications for which it was intended. This warranty is good from the date of purchase for as long as you own the property on which your new Wolmanized wood structures are built. This warranty is applicable to the original purchaser and property owner only, and is not transferable to any other property owner. The original consumer purchaser will be entitled to be reimbursed for the actual, reasonable cost of new Wolmanized wood which is purchased to replace wood which was made structurally unfit by damage due to termites or fungal decay. To obtain the necessary prior approval for, and make arrangements for, this reimbursement, the original owner must send sufficient warranty labels, along with the original purchase invoice, showing that a sufficient amount of Wolmanized wood was originally purchased to cover the number of board feet claimed to be damaged, to the Warrantor, at: Wolmanized® Outdoor® Wood Warranty Claim Administrator Arch Treatment Technologies, Inc. 1955 Lake Park Drive, Suite 100 Smyrna, GA 30080
Wolmanized® Outdoor® Wood Earns the Good Housekeeping Seal Now, the most recognized brand of preserved wood has yet another award to its credit: having already earned a Building Products magazine's MVP Award and the endorsement of Hometime's Dean Johnson, Wolmanized Residential Outdoor wood has now earned the coveted Good Housekeeping Seal. The Good Housekeeping Seal is a limited warranty to consumers which promises replacement or refund if the product is defective. Effective August 1, Wolmanized Residential Outdoor wood joined an elite group of products which have earned the Seal. Patricia Haegele, senior vice president and publisher of Good Housekeeping, said, "Consumers know that only products that have passed the tests and evaluations of the Good Housekeeping Institute are eligible to earn the Seal. Beyond the policies of manufacturers and retailers, consumers are reassured that they will get the product performance that they expect or Good Housekeeping will right the situation. We're delighted to welcome Wolmanized lumber into the Seal family of products." Earning the Seal is a major coup for any product. According to company statistics, a full 95% of all women are aware of the Good Housekeeping Seal; it is viewed as a virtual stamp of approval, indicative of a superior product that has been tested and shown to perform as promised. Among all consumer emblems, the Good Housekeeping Seal is rated as the highest level of influence on products purchased; 91% of respondents acknowledge that the Seal influences their buying decisions. That's higher than Consumer Reports, the FDA, or Underwriters Laboratories. "We are very excited and honored with this designation from Good Housekeeping," said Steve Snyder, vice president of sales and service at Arch Wood Protection, licensor of the brand. "Wolmanized Outdoor Wood is the flagship brand in our Wolmanized wood family of products, and the Seal confirms its value."
